palmail - A TCL/TK frontend for fax and voice calls with mgetty/vgetty

This is a graphical user interface to mgetty/vgetty. It handles incoming and outgoing fax and voice messages and also provides a tiny voice mailbox.
It is developed in cooperation with Sven Palme. It currently has beta status. palmail works perfectly on my box (Linux-2.2.14) and I use it regularly for several years now, but it may still have bugs. I have tested it with mgetty-1.1.21/vgetty-0.9.4 and a Cre*tix LC 144 VF modem. Try it at your own risk.

The current version palmail-1.0.tar.gz (~160 kb) requires at least Tcl-7.5/Tk-4.1. It is developed with Tcl-8.0/Tk-8.0 on a SuSE 6.4 linux system.
There is also a partially precompiled statically linked version which doesn't need the Tcl/Tk packages installed: palmail-1.0-linux-static.tar.gz (~580 kb).
